We've always thought of this as a nuanced, dual-intention event:
1) serving artists + iron pour-curious people
2) welcoming our local community to share in a rare place, craft and community

10am - 8pm - Sand Studio opens today - no sand casting on Saturday, please plan accordingly
Noon - 6pm - Public are welcome to stop by, ask questions or rub elbows with participants - it's always free to wander well
6 - 8pm - Scratch or Clay Relief Tile Workshop - open to the public - more information HERE

10am - 8pm - Sand Studio is open - all sand must be cast by Friday night - absolutely no sand will be made on Saturday
Noon - 10pm - Public welcome to wander well + stay for the music
8-9:30pm - LIVE MUSIC with local band Ghost Peaks - RAIN or SHINE - on the Outdoor Music Stage if it's shining, in the Barn if it's not

Majority of the day is dedicated to banding molds + staging the pour floor - no sand casting on Saturday
Safety meeting for Pour Floor participants
5-8pm Molten Metal - FREE for spectators - bring your friends + family out to the farm to watch the magic of molten metal - bring a blanket or lawn chairs - donations welcome + merch available in the Welcome Tent
Post-pour - the crew partakes in a community meal - public welcome to join for $20/plate
Also Post-pour - DJ Willem Hawley amplifies the mood + helps us celebrate each other spinning tunes in the barn


Weigh + Pay - participants weigh their iron + see the cashier at the Welcome Tent to settle up services
Clean up - open molds, clean up pour floor, leave no trace at campsites
Give big heart hugs as people begin to depart
