The Iron Aviators
by Clayton Hubert
The "Iron Aviators" series is a reflection on the unspoken struggles beneath our composed outer surface. Though these serene sculptures appear to glide atop the water's surface, they symbolize the relentless struggle to stay afloat amidst life's currents. Through this series, I aim to illuminate the unseen efforts and resilience required to navigate our individual journeys, inviting viewers to contemplate the hidden depths of human experience.
Clayton Hubert is K-12 Art teacher at Red Rock Central Public School in Lamberton, MN, and has actively engaged in the cast iron art community for over twenty years, notably attending all of the esteemed Down On the Farm Pours.
