Rip Tide

Kaleigh Suddarth is a Chicago based Artist. She graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with her BFA in 2017 and has since been creating Iron and Bronze artwork, as well as working for a Glass Shop and Bronze Foundry in Chicago. Her work is inspired by her coastal hometown Destin, FL and correlates with the movement of the ocean and landscapes in regards to human emotions. Rip Tide is focused on the ways in which our emotions and circumstances can be sudden and extreme, and although this is an exhausting and uncertain experience if you stay calm and allow yourself to find the current that will guide you in a new direction you can survive.
