Future Casting with Iron Casters Since 2004
Our Mission
At Down on the Farm Iron Pour, we believe that cast iron art should be for everyone. We aim to make it accessible to all artists, creatives, and molten-metal curious. Join our community of Sultans and Sultanahs of sand at our annual event, where you can experience the thrill of casting iron and learn from experts in the field.
The 20th Annual Down on the Farm Iron Pour
Welcome to the Down on the Farm Iron Pour, an annual event that has been creating a community of visionary artists since 2004. This year, from June 28th to July 2nd, we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary, and we invite you to join us for the Iron Family Reunion of the year.
Our event focuses on fostering collaboration, innovation, and curiosity around the feral fires of iron casting. Enthusiasts, beginners, and experts alike are invited to participate in our family-style meals and camp on-site, where we prioritize the people, art, and how they feed each other's souls.
Whether you are a spectator or a participant, the Down on the Farm Iron Pour offers an opportunity to observe and add to the history of human ingenuity in the center of the United States, Decorah, Iowa. We encourage you to learn more about the amenities we offer and plan your visit accordingly.
